Privacy Policy
Effective Date: May 12, 2025
At TrackSiteChanges (https://tracksitechanges.io), your privacy is a core part of our product design. This policy outlines what we collect, how we use it, and your options.
1. What We Collect
- Account Data: When you sign up, we collect your email and password. This is used to secure your tracking history and preferences.
- Form Submissions: If you reach out via our contact form or support, we store your email and name to respond.
- Usage Data: We may log anonymous behavioral data (e.g. which tools are used most) to improve product quality.
- Local Storage: We store things like dismissing popups (e.g., assistant Zeno) on your device for UX purposes.
2. How We Use Your Info
- Enable your dashboard, scans, and tracked URL preferences
- Respond to feedback or feature requests
- Measure performance and improve the product
- Prevent abuse and maintain platform security
3. Third-Party Services
We may use trusted tools like Firebase, Stripe, or affiliate platforms. These providers may handle data under their own policies, and we only share what’s necessary for functionality.
4. Affiliate Disclosure
TrackSiteChanges may recommend tools, software, or hosting. Some links may be affiliate-based, which means we could earn a commission—at no cost to you.
5. Your Privacy Choices
You can request deletion or export of your personal data at any time by contacting us at support@tracksitechanges.io. You can also delete your account from the dashboard.
6. Future Changes
If we update this policy (e.g., if we start using analytics or cookies), we'll post it here with a new effective date. You will be notified if required.
7. Local Storage & Session Storage
TrackSiteChanges uses your browser’s localStorage to enhance your experience—for example, by remembering which competitors you’ve recently scanned or if you dismissed the newsletter prompt.
This data stays local to your device. We do not track users across websites.
